Sarah Palin is an open borders John McCain clone
| Sarah Palin is a John McCain Clone on Immigration
Gary C. Huggins October 24, 2008 Sarah Palin, like John McCain, supports a path to citizenship for illegal aliens and stands firmly against Federal law requiring the deporation of illegal aliens. Anyone that has been engaged in the fight against illegal immigration is aware of the fact that John McCain supports a “guest worker program” which is nothing more than a path to citizenship of illegal aliens and, stands in opposition to the enforcement of Federal law requiring the deportatation of illegal aliens. Tom Tancredo and Duncan Hunter, leaders in the opposition to the 2007 comprehensive immigration reform bill that would have established a “guest-worker” program, a program that would provide a path to citizenship for most of the estimated 12 million illegal immigrants in the USA while supporting the deportation of illegal aliens have been effectively silenced on this issue. Hunter said the bill would have rewarded “those who have broken our laws,” and compared it to giving amnesty. See: http://asp.usatoday.com/news/politics/election2008/issues.aspx?i=2&c=9 Despite Sarah Palin’s claim that she does not support “amnesty” - she clearly stated that she supports a “path to citizenship for undocumented workers”. This path, also known as a “guest worker program” is, in plain amd simple terms, an amnesty. In an interview with Univision, Palin stated that she does not support the deportation of illegal aliens. Given the fact that Palin is clueless on so many issues, such as the “Bush Doctrine”, I doubt that she is even aware that the deportation of illegal aliens is required by the following the following Federal statute: TITLE 8–ALIENS AND NATIONALITY CHAPTER 12–IMMIGRATION AND NATIONALITY SUBCHAPTER II–IMMIGRATION Part IV–Inspection, Apprehension, Examination, Exclusion, and Removal Sec. 1227. Deportable aliens See: http://www4.law.cornell.edu/uscode/8/usc_sec_08_00001227—-000-.html On immigration, Duncan Hunter, one of the few Presidential candidates to call for the deportation of the nearly 12-20 million illegal immigrants nationwide staed, “We deport thousands of people every month,” said Hunter. “I don’t see any other way to re-establish the currency of American law than to keep the law.” Source: http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0507/3805.html Here is Palin’s interview with Univision. Univision’s founder A. Jerrold Perenchio, is the co-chair of McCain’s Campaign Finance Committee. Perenchio has poured millions of dollars into organizations that support illegal immigrants here in California. Palin’s position on illegal immigration is lockstep in line with John McCain and the open borders lobby. Please click on the following link to read Michelle Malkin’s article on A. Jerrold Perenchio and Univision: Here is the Univision interview. Please take the liberty to forward this message to your family and friends: Interview with Sarah Palin
22 de Octubre de 2008
Republican vicepresidental candidate Sarah Palin spoke with Univision’s Jorge Ramos about immigration, her criticisms towards Barack Obama and the latino vote, among other things. Amnesty Governor, let me ask you about immigration. How many undocumented immigrants are there in Alaska? Palin: I don’t know, I don’t know. That’s a good question. As governor, how do you deal with them? Do you think they all should be deported? Palin: There is no way that in the US we would roundup every illegal immigrant -there are about 12 million of the illegal immigrants- not only economically is that just an impossibility but that’s not a humane way anyway to deal with the issue that we face with illegal immigration. Do you then favor an amnesty for the 12 or 13 million undocumented immigrants? Palin: No, I do not. I do not. Not total amnesty. You know, people have got to follow the rules. They’ve got to follow the bar, and we have got to make sure that there is equal opportunity and those who are here legally should be first in line for services being provided and those opportunities that this great country provides. To clarify, so you support a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants? Palin: I do because I understand why people would want to be in America. To seek the safety and prosperity, the opportunities, the health that is here. It is so important that yes, people follow the rules so that people can be treated equally and fairly in this country. And the last question would be about politics. You only have two more weeks left… Palin: Yes What is your strategy? How are you planning to win the latino vote? Palin: I will tell you, I wish that there were more hours in the day so that we can get out there and to more of the communities with such the strong Latino vote that is out there and really tell them that we desire to work for them. We are asking them to hire us and let us work for them. Thank you so much. It would be impossible to ask you to say a few words in Spanish, right? Palin: Oh my good-well, I don’t want to embarrass myself, but … but gracias and I do thank you so much for this opportunity. I appreciate it. Thank you, muchas gracias, thank you. |
